S.M. Kabir Ahmed entered the garments trade in 1985, during the foundational era of Bangladesh’s apparel export boom. This was a period when the industry was transitioning from a nascent trade into a global powerhouse.
Over the next two decades, Ahmed embedded himself in the core operational and strategic layers of the industry. He worked with several of the country’s most renowned and highly respected garments conglomerates, acquiring deep expertise in textile manufacturing, supply chain logistics, and international buyer relations.
